Watch: Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp reveals 'video call' with Love Island winner Ekin-Su
While doing an Instagram Live with his Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown, the 17-year-old actor claimed to have messaged the reality star who he termed a 'Turkish delight'.
He said during the livestream: "I DM’d Ekin-Su and she answered me."
Schnapp then revealed that Ekin-Su replied to him and they had a video call. Brown then proceeded to do an impression of Ekin-Su being ranted at by Love Island co-star Davide who she later won the show with.
The teenage actor has previously revealed that he is a fan of Ekin-Su after leaving comments on her Instagram posts.
Schnapp is known to be a fan of the reality show and has interacted online with several other contestants including Lucinda Strafford from the first winter edition of Love Island and Ellie Brown from the 2018 edition of the series.
Earlier this year, Schnapp was criticised for publicising private messages from rapper Doja Cat.
In the messages, Doja Cat asked Schnapp to hook her up with Joseph Quinn who plays Eddie Munson in the Netflix show, saying: “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu. Wait no. Does he have a gf?"
After going public with the messages, Doja Cat responded by calling Schnapp 'socially unaware and whack'.
She added: “When you’re that young, you make mistakes. You do dumb s***. I’m like, trying to be super fair. You do dumb s***, you say dumb s***, you f****** f*** up relationships with people.
Schnapp would later apologise for making the messages public and said there were 'no hard feelings' between him and Doja Cat.
