What do Noel Edmonds and Nick Knowles have in common? An agent who's laughing all the way to the bank
If you’re unimpressed with the size of your Christmas bonus this year, you might want to look away now – one man is raking in double the pay from I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! without having to take on a single Bushtucker Trial, or even travel to Australia.
John Miles might not be one of the big names you recognise from this year’s jungle line-up, but he’s certainly doing well out of the series as he’s the agent for both Noel Edmonds and Nick Knowles, meaning he gets a cut of both of their pay cheques.
You've voted for Noel and @MrNickKnowles to face the next Trial! ⭐

Both stars have talked about having been offered a spot in the ITV contest for many years in a row, but didn’t say yes until this year – and unsurprisingly, Miles was the man to convince them to do it.
He told This Morning: “Noel didn’t want to do Deal or No Deal either, and that was a pretty tough one but I persisted.
“With I’m a Celebrity, I said I think it’s a great show and I’d love you to do it and each year he said no. This time I convinced him to give it a go.”
Eternally grateful that Noel Edmonds being on #ImACeleb means Mr Blobby is appearing all over daytime tv 😂😂

As presenter Phillip Schofield pointed out that he was also Knowles’ agent, Miles laughed: “It’s a great year for me.”
However, he did think that there was one aspect of the show that Edmonds would struggle with, saying: “He likes to be the one that gives the surprises.”
Christ, I left the room, returned & thought #NoelEdmonds had died. 🙄 #ThisMorning

Edmonds’ former Swap Shop co-star Maggie Philbin also gave her views on This Morning saying: “He loves surprising people, but the other way round, no. He will have thought about that carefully.”
Schofield, Philbin and presenter Rochelle Humes were in for a surprise of their own, as Edmonds’ old pal Mr Blobby turned up in the studio at the end of the interview, rolled around the floor for a bit, and smashed an ornamental glass pineapple.
We were hoping for a quiet Monday morning… 🙈 pic.twitter.com/fm14gy5mlm
