Oasis fans' dreams have come true this morning as the Gallagher brothers have confirmed their 2025 reunion tour after finally putting their differences aside over a late night phone call.

Noel, 57, and Liam Gallagher, 51, have had a very public feud over the past fifteen years with the iconic 90's rock band breaking fans hearts when they announced their abrupt split in 2009.

A decade and a half on, fans have been left delighted to hear that Liam and Noel have finally cleared the air for the sake of the band with a source revealing that the High Flying Birds musician had to be swayed into the decision before they finally came to an agreement.

A source told The Sun: "Noel and Liam are never going to be the best of friends but they want to bring Oasis back for the fans.

"They aren’t getting any younger and the demand is huge. They decided it was now or never. Noel dug his heels in for a long time but has finally caved and agreed to return.

"He spoke to Liam on the phone and they are on the same page. They know this reunion will go down in music history."

After confirming fourteen UK and Ireland dates next summer on their 2025 reunion tour, which includes two dates at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium, there are whispers that Oasis will also headline Glastonbury next year.

Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE, chairman of talent agency InterTalent, told the publication they could make a staggering £50m each from a tour and any residual deals.

He said: "With tickets, sponsorship, merchandise and filming, I would predict an income for Noel and Liam of over £50million each. This is a tour that could easily gross over £400million."

The two Manchester born brothers have been at each other's throats for countless years, dating all the way back to the birth of Oasis in the 90s. They would frequently argue over Liam changing Noel's song lyrics which ended up resulting in physical altercations between the two rock stars.

Things finally came to a head during a backstage brawl between the brothers at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris and the show along with the rest of their tour was cancelled.

Noel and Liam seem to have finally turned a page with their sibling rivalry after announcing in a statement this morning: "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

The brothers teased fans on Sunday evening as they hinted at a huge announcement before confirming their 2025 reunion tour this morning.

Liam also praised his older brother at the Reading Festival on Sunday as he dedicated Oasis track 'Half The World Away' to him, describing Noel to the crowd as the "greatest songwriter."

Relations between the two appear to be friendly so far though some fans are still holding their breath!
