Noel and Liam Gallagher's 'true feelings' about Oasis tour exposed after 15-year feud
Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher sparked a frenzy in the music world today by announcing that they're finally getting back together for a new UK tour.
After their notorious split in 2009, when Noel declared that he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer", the two pursued solo endeavours. However, fans have been longing for their reconciliation ever since.
Now, a video released by the pair on the platform X, has sent waves of excitement across their fanbase as they announced jointly "this is it, this is happening", alongside flashbacks of their past as well as black and white photos from a new photoshoot.

In one of these latest images, Liam stands slightly ahead of Noel, and both pose with their hands in pockets while staring into the camera.
Body language specialist Judi James analysed the image, commenting: "The key pose shows the brothers in time-warp mode, reassuring the fans that they are still stuff-full of industrial strength, uncompromising edginess that remains undimmed by age," reports the Manchester Evening News.
In the second picture above, Judi observes that "Liam is all about challenge and confrontation although his hard gaze is aimed at the camera, not his brother."
The most striking moment comes towards the video's end when a succession of snapshots flicker past swiftly. Among these grainy pictures, Judi uncovers a "revelation".
She explained: "Each brother's head is bowed in towards the other, making them look like turtle doves forming a peace sign.
"Noel's mouth has fallen open and his expression almost makes it look as though he is in pain.
"Liam is in a more adult, reflective mode here and there is a hint of some of the emotions triggered to get this reunion going, behind all the bluster and posturing."
Another snapshot, which mirrored the dominant image, shows Liam maintaining his "tough guy pose".
Judi added: "His chin now raised rather than tilted and his hands slung into his pockets in a gesture of laid-back power and confidence."
Ahead of their announcement, Noel had words of praise for Liam in an interview published last week.
In conversation with John Robb at Manchester's Sifters Records, he humorously likened his younger brother's voice to "10 shots of tequila on a Friday night" and his own to "half-a-Guinness on a Tuesday".
Liam also hinted at the 8am revelation by playing Oasis classics during his star performance at Leeds Festival on Friday evening.
The duo could reportedly net an eye-watering £50million from touring across the UK as well as merch sales.
