Noel Radford slams 'worst ever' roast dinner at posh Dubai restaurant and prefers Toby Carvery
Noel Radford, the head of Britain's biggest family, didn't mince words when he critiqued a fancy Dubai restaurant for dishing up "the worst ever" Sunday Roast, favouring the familiar comfort of Toby Carvery instead.
On a luxury getaway in Dubai with wife Sue to celebrate their wedding anniversary, the dad-of-22 shared his disapproval for the high-end restaurant's lacklustre roast, which paled in comparison to the affordable and satisfying British staple found at Toby Carvery. The stars of Channel 5 series 22 Kids and Counting told fans in a social media video how they were expecting something special for their anniversary dinner amid preparations for daughter Millie's nuptials.
Documenting their experiences at a lavish resort within the United Arab Emirates on their Facebook page and YouTube vlog, Noel, 53, detailed the let-down of their anticipated meal, dubbing it "the worst one we ever had". The Morecambe-based baker said: "I hate complaining, never complain about anything but we went out for a meal today, for a Sunday roast, and it's the worst one we ever had."

He slammed the dish as "awful" and vastly inferior to a Toby Carvery, while Sue, 49, diplomatically remarked on the overly thin and bacon-like beef. Cautious not to disclose the establishment's name, Noel was baffled by its celebrity endorsements, bemoaning the fatty cuts of meat and the gravy that didn't tickle his taste buds.
Noel's got into a "rant" over a potential £41 per person meal cost that wasn't part of their package deal, while Sue simply found it disappointing. The couple, who have been giving updates on their food experiences during the holiday, enjoyed everything else apart from the Moroccan tea.
The couple are parents to a 22 kids and have nine grandchildren as well. They all live together in a huge 10-bedroom Victorian townhouse, which they bought back in 2004 for £240,000, a building which used to be a care home.
They're not just stars of the small screen - the Radford family also runs Radford's Pie Company, a bakery in Heysham, and they make ends meet with the business, their telly gigs, and their presence on social media platforms.
