Noisy Hail Falls on Southern Minnesota

Hailstones up to golf ball size fell in parts of southern Minnesota as tornado-warned storms hit the region on Wednesday, May 11, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

The NWS issued a tornado warning for parts of southern Minnesota and a tornado watch for Nebraska and South Dakota until 9 pm Wednesday, warning of scattered wind gusts up to 75 mph and hail up to two inches in diameter.

Leslie Webster said she filmed this footage in New Prague, southwest of Minneapolis, on Wednesday.
