North Belfast community hosting Autumn Fair after popular spring event
A community in North Belfast is making the final preparations ahead of their Autumn Fair.
Organised by the Cavehill Business Association, the fair will take place on the road on Sunday, September 22, from 12pm to 4pm. It follows their hugely successful Spring Fair, which saw around 5,000 people attend throughout the day.
At the autumn event, there will be entertainment outside Works Coffee Roasters as well as in front of the shops at Murphy Browns and the Bluebell Cafe on the Cavehill Road.

A range of local vendors will be in attendance at the fair, including those selling artisinal treats and unique, handcrafed items. There will also be live music, interactive games, and entertainment for all ages.
Speaking to Belfast Live, Paul Carlin, who is a member of the Cavehill Business Association and owner of Carlin Hair, said: "From the amazing response to our Spring Event we were inundated with requests to run another one. So Claire, Kelvin, Lesley and myself sat down just a few weeks ago and decided to get stuck in and just went for it.
"The businesses have donated money in order to bring it over the line. We have loads of entrainment in two areas. One area outside Works Coffee Roasters and the large covered market organised by Thomas from Urban Events, and entertainment area in front of the shops where Murphy Browns and the Bluebell Cafe are.
"We are so excited about it and can't wait to see everyone out again, it was so much fun the last time. Everything we've been able to achieve was supported by our business community and we are grateful for Belfast City Council and Communities NI helping us get this project up and running in the first place.
"The effect it has had on the community has been fantastic to witness, we were so lucky to able to be involved in the Vibrant Business Destinations program as there were only 10 spaces for all of Belfast."
