North Dakota Officials Issue Warning to Drivers as Water Washes Out Roadway
Officials issued a warning to drivers as washouts forced road closures in Foster County, North Dakota, on Tuesday, May 10.
This video was posted to Facebook by the Foster County Sheriff’s Office, who said it was captured shortly after a washout destroyed a road at an intersection in Carrington. “It just washed away in front of me. This is why you don’t drive around the road closed signs,” the sheriff’s post read.
Police said on Monday that 11th St N was closed from 82nd Ave to 85th Ave, and that anyone caught driving around the ‘road closed’ signs would risk a $250 citation. Credit: Foster County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
