Pubs in North East to sell pints for £2 as prices slashed for two weeks only
If you're counting the pennies after an expensive summer with the family and are always on the look out for a bargain, there's a thirst quenching deal on offer at plenty of pubs across the North East, for £2 pints this month.
Many drinkers continue to bemoan how much a pint costs these days, with many pubs offering very little or no change from a fiver for a pint, or even closer to £10 at some places. But from now, until September 18, Greene King pubs up and down the country are offering £2 pints all day every day.
And the good news for everyone reading this in the North East, is that plenty of the participating venues are in the region. Just what beers and lagers you can get for two quid differs from pub to pub.
