North-east's 'biggest ever music festival' coming to Town Moor in 2025 with big name line-up
Next year, the North East is set to host the grandest festival the region has ever witnessed, as Town Moor in Newcastle prepares for a colossal five-day music extravaganza. The location, best known for the annual Hoppings funfair, is poised for a complete makeover into the beating heart of the UK's live music scene, introducing the inaugural Come Together Festival from June 4-8.
Poised to be the largest open-air music event the North East has had, its line-up waits in the wings, promising leading UK and international acts.
The festival is the brainchild of TEG Europe, in partnership with The Freemen and the City Council, evolving beyond just sounds to encapsulate Newcastle's vibrant culture, boundless talent, and its tight-knit community spirit. In addition to the musical drawcards, patrons can look forward to a dynamic milieu of local food offerings, compelling art displays, and stellar performances—with an eagerly anticipated line-up reveal on the horizon.

TEG Europe's Managing Director, Toby Leighton-Pope, shared his excitement about the upcoming festivities: "We are absolutely thrilled to bring an event of this calibre to the North East. Newcastle can expect an unforgettable festival experience featuring some of the biggest and best names in global music. This festival is all about celebrating the region, its culture, and its love for music, and we can't wait to share more details in the coming weeks. We're gearing up for what will be a landmark event for the region."
A spokesperson for The Freemen of Newcastle stated: "We are delighted to be working alongside TEG to deliver this huge event for Newcastle and the wider region. We are very fortunate to have one of the largest and most iconic outdoor events spaces in the UK. We look forward to welcoming attendees from all parts of the UK.", reports Chronicle Live.
"Together we have a long-term plan to make this a high-profile annual celebration on the Town Moor, and with the level of international artists already booked we are all excited to see the first shows announced."
TEG Europe stands out as a premier promoter of live events, organising more than 2,000 concerts annually, ranging from intimate club gigs to massive stadium tours across Europe. They boast a stellar lineup of performers, including the likes of Noel Gallagher, Bryan Adams, Busted, Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg and Girls Aloud, and were behind the sold-out reunion tour for the Brit winning girl group earlier this year.
