North Korea Dictator Unveils 'Kimdergarten'

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un has been photographed visiting a new orphanage due to open soon in the secretive state.

The country's official news agency published pictures of its leader touring the brightly-coloured, art deco Wonsan Baby Home and Orphanage in Kangwon Province.

Wearing a casual white shirt and Panama hat, Kim inspected a swing and entrance hall while military officers assiduously took notes.

He was also pictured grinning next to huge images of his father and grandfather - his predecessors as supreme leader - which loom over the entrance to the building.

The state news agency reported Kim as saying the facility was "a proud structure eloquently and strikingly demonstrating the advantages of the socialist system under which the party and the state take care of orphans in a responsible manner".
