North Lanarkshire Council is developing a new Local Transport Strategy - and is inviting residents to share their views.

The strategy will shape how transport infrastructure is developed and maintained across the area over the next 10 years.

It will also support national efforts to reduce car use, lower carbon emissions and promote active travel, such as walking, wheeling, and cycling.

Through this initiative, the council aims to identify key transport challenges and opportunities, as well as explore potential solutions to be included in the final strategy.

Residents are encouraged to take part in a short survey, which will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Have your say by completing the survey online by Friday, December 20.

Your input is vital in helping the local authority to "shape a sustainable and accessible transport future for North Lanarkshire".
