North Petherton Carnival 2024 results announced

The provisional winners from North Petherton Carnival have been announced. And Gremlins Carnival Club and Huckyduck Carnival Club both remain on course to share the County Cup after fourth successive wins.

As has been the case at Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare, the two clubs were awarded the top prizes in the Open Feature and Open Tableau classes with their 'Beatlemania' and 'Brunel' carts respectively, with Gremlins winning by just six points over Step Right Up by Masqueraders CC

Newmarket CC with Tour de Somerset won best comic feature, and Rubalo JCC with Birds of Paradise won best juvenile feature.. The next procession of the circuit is in Shepton Mallet on Wednesday, but some carts will head to Midsomer Norton on Monday night.
