North Sea Jazz Festival 2019 line-up: Chance the Rapper, Janelle Monáe and Kamasi Washington announced as headliners
The North Sea Jazz Festival has revealed the first wave of acts set to perform at its 2019 edition.
Chance the Rapper, Janelle Monáe, Ms Lauryn Hill and Kamasi Washington have all been locked in as headliners for the festival, which will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from July 12-14.
Elsewhere, there will be performances from the Internet, Rag’n’Bone Man and others, with many more acts still yet to be announced.
The event, which claims to be the world’s largest indoor festival, has been running since 1976 and has previously hosted jazz legends such as Miles Davis, Stan Getz and Dizzy Gillespie. More recently, D’Angelo and Erykah Badu have performed.
