North Staffordshire's newest curry house promises 'luxurious dining experience'
North Staffordshire is set to get a new Indian restaurant - after a venue underwent yet another transformation. Signs have gone up at the former pub on Leek's Buxton Road.
Goa Exclusive Indian Restaurant is the latest incumbent at the venue, which sits at the turning for Thorncliffe. Last month the restaurant confirmed that work was underway to transform the building.
The post, just before Christmas, stated: "We are pleased to inform you all that work has officially commenced at Goa Leek. We really are creating a special and luxurious dining experience for all of you lovely people."

This week and details have gone on the Facebook page of a competition to win a meal at the launch night. As of yet no details have been released on when it will open.
Over the years it has operated as a pub, the Moss Rose Inn, and later Sera Cafe Bistro. It then became Moss Rose Mediterranean Grill in December 2022. But in February it shut to allow staff to head out to earthquake-hit Turkey as 'close relatives' of the team were affected.
In June last year it was transformed into Mokissos Restaurant. Now extensive works have been carried out at the building while the outside has been given a stylish makeover ready for the latest chapter in the building's history.
