North Wales nightclub set to reopen under new owners
An "iconic" nightclub is set to reopen under new owners. ATIK in Wrexham closed down at the start of the year after owner Rekom UK called in administrators.
It saw Rekom hand back the lease to the club in the city centre - with the team made redundant. They blamed the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on younger generations and rising business costs.
The closure was described as the "end of an era". Last month it went on the market with with Christie and Co. The club had an asking price of £450,000.

Now the club's Facebook page has announced that the venue will reopen. Signs on the club say it will be back on Christmas Eve.
They have now started recruitment for a range of positions. The club said they had already been "overwhelmed by all the messages to join out ATIK team".
Christie and Co said the venue will be reopening under an "an experienced multiple operator, prior to a formal completion".
