Northern Ireland weather outlook for the week ahead as Met Office forecast snow
Wintery weather is set to come into force this week as the Met Office forecast the potential for snow in Northern Ireland.
Although Northern Ireland has experienced a milder start to November, temperatures are set to drop to below 0°C in parts of the country after a wet and breezy weekend.
The Met Office has said that we can expect thick clouds, cold winds and rain showers, with the possibilities of sleet or snow in places for the week beginning Monday, November 18.

In Belfast, a cloudy morning will lead to heavy rain showers on Monday afternoon with lows of 0°C. Light showers to continue into the rest of the week with temperatures to drop below freezing on Tuesday and Friday.
This is what the Met Office has forecasted for Northern Ireland this week:
Monday:
Some limited early brighter spells, then cloud thickening from the west through the morning, bringing periods of rain and hill snow for the afternoon which clears during the evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
The pattern looks set to hold through the outlook period with brisk northerly winds bringing showers of snow, sleet and rain which turn heavy at times.
