A Canadian photographer captured timelapse footage of the northern lights shimmering over Jumpingpound Mountain, Alberta, Canada, on October 6.
Siv Heang Tav captured the video and told Storyful she wanted to shoot water-reflection photos before the lake completely froze over.
“Since auroras start off faint and dull, patience is key for aurora chasers. This timelapse was taken with two cameras,” she said. Credit: Siv Heang Tav via Storyful
