'Do not approach' warning as man wanted for sex trafficking at large

A man wanted for sex trafficking offences is on the run with police warning the public to call 999 if they see him.

Terry Young, 43, is wanted by South Yorkshire Police in connection to trafficking offences for sexual exploitation offences in Sheffield and Barnsley. Today, the force put out an appeal to the public detailing his description and what to do if you see him.

Young is described as having a slim build, with dark short cut hair. He has a tribal patterned tattoo on his neck and a teardrop tattoo under his left eye. In a statement issued to the media, a force spokesperson said: "Young, aged 43, is wanted in connection with trafficking offences for sexual exploitation offences in Sheffield and Barnsley.

"Police want to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to Young recently or knows where he may be staying. If you see Young, please do not approach him but instead call 999."
