Not Loving It: Dad Shocked At McDonald’s Toy That ‘Imitates A Sex Act’

A shocked dad felt a McDonald’s Happy Meal toy was not suitable for his toddler daughter - because he believes it imitated as sex act.

The Super Mario figure came free with the lunch deal Tyler Atfield bought for his three-year-old daughter from the store in Plymouth, Devon.

But after seeing it in action, Tyler took the toy away from her.

The figure of the classic Nintendo character has a mechanical arm that moves up and down repeatedly - making it look like it was performing a sex act.

A boomerang is meant to be in the doll’s hand but only a hole remains when taken off the hand.

Mario sports a grin on his face as his arm moves up and down - and Tyler, 25, thinks it is completely unsuitable for children.

The dad-of-five, fumed: “I was very concerned because it looked completely inappropriate, I was not happy.

"They should not be giving out toys that look like that.

“My kids started doing the action and it was so wrong.

"I confiscated the toy and my daughter was upset, but without the boomerang, it doesn’t look right.”

A spokesperson for McDonald’s that this was the first complaint they had received about the toy.

They said: “Super Mario toys are a much loved part of our Happy Meal promotional range.

"This particular toy has been available across the world since 2014 without any complaints so we are surprised that Boomerang Mario has been misconstrued in this way.

"We hope the vast majority of our customers continue to enjoy the Team Mario range in the way the fun children’s toys were intended.”
