Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in this afternoon’s Premier League clash.

The Reds go into the match looking to maintain their positive start to the season. They have picked up four points from their opening two league games and put in a good performance as they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle United in midweek.

Nuno made 10 changes to his starting XI for that tie against the Magpies. And the players who came in gave him plenty of food for thought ahead of today’s fixture.

Debutants Carlos Miguel, Eric da Silva Moreira, Alex Moreno and Ramon Sosa all did well on Wednesday night. And Jota Silva marked his first start by scoring an equaliser.

Forest went on to lose on penalties but could still take plenty of positives from the game. Since then, the squad has been strengthened further with the deadline day signings of James Ward-Prowse and Morato.

The two newest arrivals will have to wait to make their first appearances in the Garibaldi. Nuno has named the same XI from last weekend’s 1-0 win over Southampton.

Neco Williams, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Ola Aina will make up the back line ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels. Ibrahim Sangare and Elliot Anderson will be the midfield pairing.

Anthony Elanga, captain Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi will support front man Chris Wood. The bench will be made up of Carlos Miguel, Taiwo Awoniyi, Nicolas Dominguez, Eric da Silva Moreira, Alex Moreno, Jota Silva, Ryan Yates, Ramon Sosa and Willy Boly.

Forest: Sels; Williams, Milenkovic, Murillo, Aina; Sangare, Anderson; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood. Subs: Miguel, Awoniyi, Dominguez, Moreira, Moreno, Jota, Yates, Sosa, Boly.
