Southampton’s Championship play-off final victory over Leeds United means the Premier League line-up for the 2024/25 season has been confirmed - and so too the title and relegation odds for the next top-flight campaign.

The Saints beat Leeds 1-0 at Wembley on Sunday to join champions Leicester City and Ipswich Town in the 2024/25 Premier League, but which of them will still be there come next May - and how will Nottingham Forest fare after a dramatic 2023/24?

The Reds will no doubt be hoping for a far more straight-forward campaign, one not tainted by points deductions, manager sackings and battles over VAR.

However, they will face some significant hurdles before their first game, scheduled for the weekend of August 17/18, with player sales forecast to avoid further issues with Profitability and Sustainability rules and the future of head coach Nuno Espirito Santo up in the air.

As such, the relegation odds for Forest will not make easy reading for their supporters - but the season is forecast to have a happy ending.

The Reds are a 9/4 shot to finish outside the bottom three - and one place better than in their troubled 2023/24 campaign - but still seem to have some way to go before becoming the settled top-flight club owner Evangelos Marinakis desires.

Promoted Leicester City lead the way in the relegation odds, the Championship title-winners odds on to finish rock-bottom of the top-flight at 1/2 with fellow promoted team Ipswich an 8/11 shot to join them in a rapid return to the second tier.

A big surprise in the SkyBet odds is Everton (5/4) being ranked as third favourites to go down next term, with the Saints just managing to survive (6/4) and then Forest two places clear of the drop zone.

Forest will learn their 2024/25 Premier League programme when the fixtures are released at 9am on June 18. The schedule for early TV games will be announced soon after that.

Manchester City are predicted to claim a fifth successive Premier League title. They are listed at evens by SkyBet, with Arsenal (9/4) and Liverpool (15/2) tipped to complete the top three. The big movers next term - and listed to finish fourth at 16/1 - are Chelsea, currently without a manager after the exit of Mauricio Pochettino.

Next come Manchester United at 25/1 with Newcastle, also at 25/1, tipped to complete the top six.
