Nottingham Forest transfer target eyes January window switch
Nottingham Forest's summer transfer target Omar Marmoush is reportedly eyeing a January move to the Premier League. Egypt forward Marmoush saw a £20m move to the City Ground collapse but he hasn't given up on a move to England and in doing so follow compatriot and good friend Mohamed Salah to the top flight.
Marmoush plays for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, where he netted 17 goals last season while also contributing to Egypt's AFCON campaign last winter. The 25-year-old already has three goals this term, too, a strike against Hoffenheim and then a brace in Saturday's 2-1 win over Wolfsburg.
Mirror Sport report that Marmoush was left disappointed by Frankfurt's last-minute decision to demand further by way of a transfer fee and the Reds, who were after another striker to join Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi in Nuno's centre forward department, didn't end up adding another striker to their ranks.
Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle have all also been credited an interest in striker Marmoush, as have Crystal Palace, whose target man Jean-Philippe Mateta's future has been surrounded by speculation.
