The remnants of the disruption caused just days ago still graces gardens, paths and rooftops across Nottinghamshire as the bitterly cold spell of weather continues. But the Met Office has issued a new 22-hour snow warning for the county and warned people to 'keep your family safe'.

Snow is forecast for parts of Nottinghamshire on Thursday, November 21 and overnight into Friday, November 22. The yellow Met Office weather warning came into effect at noon on Thursday and is in place until 10am on Friday.

Forecasters have urged people to keep themselves and their families safe and said travel disruption was once again possible with wintry showers and icy patches expected overnight on Thursday and early on Friday. The Met Office said there would be longer journey times and added there could be injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
