Novak Djokovic on course for sixth ATP Finals title after semi win over Kevin Anderson

Novak Djokovic will play for a record-equalling sixth ATP Finals title, after a comfortable straight sets semi-final win over South African Kevin Anderson.

The world number one triumphed 6-2 6-2 at London's O2 Arena, and will play Germany's Alexander Zverev, who stunned Roger Federer earlier in the day, in Sunday's final.

Djokovic broke Anderson's usually dominant serve in the very first game of the match, and then again at 4-2, to race into a set lead without breaking sweat.

The giant Anderson continued to struggle on first serve, and double faulted at 0-30 in the first game of the second set to gift Djokovic three break points. The Serbian converted at the second time of asking for an early break, from which Anderson never looked likely to recover.

Djokovic continued in the same vein, rarely threatened on his own serve, clinical against his opponent's, and is still yet to be broken in the tournament.

A second break after a brilliant baseline rally made it 4-1, effectively ending the match as a contest, before Djokovic sealed the deal with a pair of confident holds.
