November 'Blood Moon' Glows Over Boston Skyline

A total lunar eclipse – also known as a ‘blood moon’ – was seen above Boston early on Tuesday, November 8, as residents woke up on election day.

Footage captured by Megan Nicholson shows the eclipse in Back Bay on Tuesday morning.

According to NASA, it was the last total lunar eclipse until 2025. It was visible across North and Central America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Credit: Megan Nicholson via Storyful
