You can now buy gin in a box

For anyone that’s been to university, or heck, just anyone that’s been in their early twenties, they will think fondly of wine boxes as a staple of their youth.

However, it seems boxed alcohol has just got a classy upgrade - you can now buy gin in a box.

Pinkster gin have debuted their ‘Pinkster on Tap’ gin box that is a whopping three litres of gin and retails for £135.

While the price point might seem high, the three litres of gin is equivalent to four bottles - and a bottle of Pinkster gin goes for around £37 so you’re saving around £15 by buying the box.

Pinkster described the box as perfect for festivals and barbecues and less harmful for the environment than a glass bottle.

They wrote: “From boats to BBQs, Glastonbury to Glyndebourne, it’s gin on tap with our stylish and sustainable bag-in-box. Equivalent to just over four regular bottles, this saves you £15 and a load of glass recycling.”

So, there you have it, delicious, seemingly endless amounts of gin and you’re helping the environment too.
