Now Prince Harry is happily married with a father to baby Archie, anyone looking to score a royal boyfriend will need to widen their search.
Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark, who works as a hedge fund manager in New York, was almost as eligible as Prince Harry, but he's now taken by a private jet heiress.
There are a few other eligible gentlemen on the scene who could still fit the bill. Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan is currently single. The 25-year-old heir to the throne of Jordan loves motorcycling and cooking and was pictured watching the England football match with Prince William on an official visit.
In the extended British royal family, there's 25-year-old Louis Spencer. The University of Edinburgh graduate is set to inherit the 90-room Althorp Estate, a decision which has drawn criticism as Louis has three older sisters.
Prince Harry’s cousin and Lady Kitty Spencer’s brother isn’t officially a prince, but you'd still probably score a few royal wedding invites.
Then there's Arthur Chatto, Queen Elizabeth’s great-nephew, son of her late sister Princess Margaret (who we fell in love with all over again thanks to The Crown.)
Arthur Chatto's feed makes him one of the most relaxed royals on Instagram, as he regularly posts shirtless selfies and vacation shots. We haven't seen a member of the Queen's family let their hair down so publicly since Prince Harry's infamous Vegas night out. Though we expect if Instagram had existed in Arthur's grandmother Princess Margaret's day she probably would have enjoyed a bit of scandalous over-sharing herself. The Princess did, after all, once raise eyebrows with a nude-looking 29th birthday portrait taken by her then-boyfriend Antony Armstrong-Jones.
Or there's always Arthur Chatto's hipster older brother Sam Chatto - although the art-loving 23-year-old does currently have a girlfriend, vegan blogger Sophie Pipe. Even so, Sam still likes to flirt with his 52k followers. "Good morning beautiful" he wrote in a post, "yeah, I'm talking to YOU, shine bright today lovers, love Sam xxxxx". He's currently selling his pottery online, although it's sold out at the moment.
If Arthur Chatto is a bit too muscle-bound for you and his brother is a little too hipster, there’s another eligible royal to consider.
Princess Alexandra’s grandson, Alexander Ogilvy, is graduating from Brown next year according to his extremely detailed LinkedIn profile (he's also a rugby captain). His Instagram account @brogilvy is private, but his sister Flora sometimes shares photos of her US-based brother.
Plan your regal Instagram follows accordingly.
