What do you know, you can actually buy whisky in a pouch now!

Coming in containers reminiscent of childhood classic Capri-Sun (or for those who are bringing up a new generation, Ella's Kitchen), a company called Whisky Me has set up a service that sends you a new whisky every month.

So, a bit like HelloFresh but... with things that will get you drunk.

Whisky Me are a trendy new company developed from a whisky bar in London called Black Rock.

Their aim is to bring whisky to the masses, enabling you to "appreciate the rich diversity of single malt whisky, with minimal fuss and minimal cost, one large glass at a time".

Even if you think the spirit isn't your cup of tea, Whisky Me will give you the chance to find out for sure, delivering different whiskies to your door for only £7 a month. That's pretty good for fine whisky if you ask us.

You'll get a different 5cl dram each month, the ability to opt out if you're a monthly member only, membership rewards, and alcohol that fits through your letterbox!

If you join this month, they'll be sending you Fine Oak MacCallan '12, which means pretty much nothing to us but we're totally on board.

Experimenting with different ways of selling food and drink has been all the rage this year, and hopefully we'll be seeing more of it in 2018 as well.

For example, Aldi, Virgin and Iceland launched their owns take on a Christmas advent calendar this year, all featuring bottles of wine inside.

And as gin became the nation's favourite alcoholic beverage in 2017, we saw pineapple gin become a thing, as well as mulled gin! What a time to be alive!
