NPCC urges victims to report incidents of spiking

Deputy Chief Constable Maggie Blyth, who is the National Police Lead for Violence Against Women and Girls, encourages victims of spiking to come forward as soon as they can and report the crime, saying: “Increasing awareness is really important… we want victims to have confidence in policing”. Her comments come as the National Police Chief's Council says there have been 5,000 incidents of spiking over the last year.
