Katie Price slammed for playing with her phone and failing to cheer on Holly Willoughby and This Morning

​Katie Price came under fire after she was spotted playing with her phone as everyone else cheered on This Morning at the National Television Awards.

Price was sat with her Loose Women co-stars, who lost out on the Best Daytime award to the ITV show at last night’s bash.

Nadia Sawalha and Saira Khan were pictured applauding Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as they took to the stage to accept their trophy.

But Price failed to clap and instead sat playing with her phone.

The move didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed viewers who were quick to criticise her reaction.

One tweeted: “Katie Price get off your phone. There's a time and place for it FFS. #NTAs.”

Another wrote: “Katie Price on her iPad/phone!! Omg because it’s not about her @OfficialNTAs.”

A third commented: “Welldone @thismorning well deserved winners @OfficialNTAs shame @KatiePrice wasn’t happy for them being on her phone.”

Willoughby and Schofield paid tribute to each other as they picked up their gong – but their speech was crashed by Bradley Walsh who sneaked himself on stage with the This Morning crew.

Willoughby noticed the intruder midway through her speech. She said: “I’m lucky to work with not only one of my best friends, but as far as I’m concerned, the best team in the business. And… Bradley Walsh! What a devil!”

She then joked that Walsh is the new doctor on This Morning, adding: “Bradley Walsh is our new doctor. He’s taking over sexual health, so if anyone’s got an issue, come and speak to Doctor Brad.”

Among the night’s big winners were Ant and Dec who took home three out of a possible four awards including Best Presenter for the 17th time.
