A number of big names in the Northern Irish film and TV industry have been recognised ahead of the National Television Awards 2024.

The NTAs are the most prominent ceremony for the industry in which the results are voted on by the general public, and are often branded as 'television's biggest night of the year'.

The awards 'longlist' has been released for TV fans to vote for who they think deserves to win in each category - voting closes on May 31 before the final shortlist is announced in August ahead of the ceremony.

This year's ceremony will once again be hosted by presenter Joel Dommett and will take place at the O2 in London on September 11.

Voting is now open for the first stage of voting across 15 categories and with the local film and TV industry continuing from strength to strength, it is unsurprising that a number of local faces and shows have been named in the running this year.
