NYPD Officers Rescue Teen From Icy Pond in Central Park

New York City police officers used ladders to rescue a 16-year-old boy who fell into an icy pond in Central Park on Monday, March 20.

AM New York reported the teen had walked out onto the ice-covered Swan Lake at around 1.15 pm. Police officers and parks employees used a ladder to pull the boy to safety.
