NYPD Seek Information on Suspect as Gay Bar Repeatedly Hit With Bricks

The New York Police Department (NYPD) appealed to the public for information to help identify a suspect they allege threw bricks at the windows of VERS, a gay bar in Manhattan, on three separate dates in November.

Footage released by NYC Council Member Erik Bottcher shows the suspect throwing a brick at VERS bar on November 19, the date of the latest reported incident.

Local media said that VERS, in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, was targeted by a suspect throwing bricks at the windows on November 13, 15, and 19.

No one was hurt in the incidents, the report added, citing the NYPD. Credit: NYC Council Member Erik Bottcher via Storyful
