New York police are seeking two suspects who stole more than $20,000 from a man on a Bronx street in March. Police released surveillance footage of the daylight robbery on Thursday, April 6.
The 27-year-old victim was walking with a plastic bag containing $48,000 when one suspect approached him from behind and attempted to rip the bag out of his hands, according to police. The struggle caused money to spill out onto the ground.
During the struggle, the second suspect punched the victim. The first suspect then picked up a money bundle worth $21,500 before both suspects fled, police said.
