Oasis fans battle for tickets as websites crash before general sale
Oasis fans are bracing themselves as general sale tickets for the huge reunion tour go on sale at 9am, Saturday, August 31.
Fans of the iconic band - who are finally reuniting after 16 years - have been left frustrated after ticket websites Ticketmaster and Gigs In Scotland crashed on Saturday morning.
Instead of a page opening to buy tickets, an error number was displayed, which usually indicates a webpage is unable to handle any more connections.

UK tickets went on general sale at 8am through Gigs and Tours, ticketmaster.co.uk, gigsinscotland.com and seetickets.com.
Earlier this week, fans of the legendary band were left shocked after they revealed a huge comeback tour.
Ticket prices vary from £74.25 to £506.25, as the band originally released 14 dates to the tour, but following huge demand upped this to 17 nights.

It comes as on Friday night, the band released a warning after unofficial reselling websites shared tickets from the early sale for an eyewatering price.
A post to the band’s X page said: “We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale.
“Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets.
“Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be cancelled by the promoters.”
Tickets are officially being sold via Ticketmaster, GigsAndTours, and See Tickets.
