Oasis fans 'fear the worst' after Liam Gallagher says 'massive announcement incoming'
Oasis fans "fear the worst" after Liam Gallagher teases a "massive announcement". Months after Oasis confirmed their reunion, which is set for next summer, Liam sparked a frenzy on Twitter/X on Saturday (November 16) afternoon.
On X (formerly Twitter) this Saturday afternoon, Liam wrote: "Massive announcement incoming." In reply, a fan typed: "Albarn has joined Oasis?" A second asekd "you and damon are best friends?" A third wrote: "are we getting another oasis album?"
Another said: "Reunion cancelled?" Another said: "You and Noel fallen out?" However, less than 10 minutes later, the cheeky star wrote: "IM THE F**KNG B****X CMON" Another fan replied: "Whether you're celebrating an achievement or just in a hype mood, that energy definitely comes through loud and clear."

"i bet right now you’re looking at our replies and giggling," another said. Liam and Noel have put their differences to one side to revive the band 15 years after their acrimonious split. Taking to the stage next year on a sell-out world tour, a source working on the shows has revealed how the former foes will be “very separate”.
“Noel and Liam are returning and reuniting, but don’t for one minute think that this is a tour about complete brotherly love and going out night after night and being together 24/7 like the old days,” said the tour insider. “They will not be in each other’s pockets and effectively be separate entities that come together for necessary promotional work and the gigs. Other than that they will be apart for much of this reunion.”
“Any fallout would be a PR and financial nightmare,” the source added. “Rehearsals will be the first time that they will be together for a significant amount of time working again. The atmosphere is sure to be electric, but also a little edgy.”
