Oasis fans have slammed the band's ballot system as being "unfair" as they revealed how to get tickets for their additional UK shows.

Liam and Noel Gallagher announced they are reuniting for an epic 2025 World Tour. They have sold out all 17 dates so far.

As fans attempted to get tickets last week, thousands waited in online queues or were met with dynamic pricing models that saw prices nearly double. In response to the ticket chaos, Oasis announced they would be playing two more dates at Wembley Stadium next summer.

It was keen to stress that the band had no input on the price hikes. They confirmed they'd play the London venue next year on September 27 and 28 using a lottery system.

As reported in the Mirror, eligible fans will be sent invitations to a "private ballot".

They said: "If you signed into your Ticketmaster UK account on Saturday, 31st August, and were able to join a queue for a specific show, but didn't get a ticket-then you may be eligible to take part and will receive an email on how to register for the ballot. Keep an eye on the inbox associated with your Ticketmaster account, and don't forget to check your junkmail."

Fans who get an email, will be entered into a ballot for a code to access the ticket sale for the additional Wembley dates. They have insisted tickets will be "strictly limited" and is " only open to invited fans". Oasis added: "You must register with the email to which your invitation was sent and which is registered with your Ticketmaster account.

Despite the news more fans will be able to try for tickets, many slammed the band for implementing the system which will be using Ticketmaster again. One fan said: "Nothing for the fans who couldn’t even get signed into their Ticketmaster accounts because they were stuck in a Q to get on the website."

Another urged: "Please stop using Ticketmaster." Someone else pointed out: "What about all those of us that were trying for Manchester dates and got done over by Ticketmaster? Please put some additional Manchester dates on!" A fourth remained confused as they said: "This still confuses me. So… just do nothing for now and see if we are invited or do we still need to sign something before hand?"

"But Ticketmaster still thinks I’m a bot," said other. Another quipped: "guess signing up for the presale (unsuccessfully) and queuing for 7 hours does not qualify you as a “real fan”." Someone else asked: "Is this only for those who applied for the Wembley tickets? Or is it including everyone, UK-wide???" One fan pointed out: "And what about those who tried to get tickets through gigs and tours or see tickets?"

Earlier this week, Oasis said: "Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand. Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process. Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on sale with Ticketmaster."

Oasis appear to just be using Ticketmaster for the additional dates, despite See Tickets and Gigs and Tours being used as official sellers of their reunion tour last weekend. Dynamic pricing saw some fans being asked to pay £355, instead of the expected £148.50 for standing tickets on Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster now faces a Competition and Markets Authority probe into whether it broke consumer protection law. This week, frontman Liam failed to hold back when he broke his silence over the Oasis ticket price scandal - telling fans to "shut up".
