Oasis fire brutal warning at touts as tickets appear on re-sale sites for sky high prices
Oasis have vowed to crack down on 'scammers' and touts, after tickets for their 2025 tour appeared on various re-sale sites for hugely inflated prices, some in excess of £2,000, just minutes after Friday's pre-sale began.
Tuesday morning brought the news that fans had been waiting for when Oasis announced they were getting back together to tour the UK and Ireland next summer. By the time Friday night's Oasis pre-sale began, an extra three dates had already been added to the original; list, bringing the total so far to 17.
Then came the first wave of ticket stress, when the lucky fans who managed to get an access code, headed to Ticketmaster in hope of getting their hands on some. There were quickly posts on X (Twitter) from a growing number of successful people, as others bemoaned being stuck in huge online queues.

And it also didn't take long for anger to spread, as Oasis tickets quickly appeared on re-sale sites, at vastly increased prices. Some Wembley tickets were being advertised at £2,000, while ones for Heaton Park were on sale for £813 and more.
Having been inundated with complaints from fans, Oasis spoke out on X, writing: "We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be cancelled by the promoters."
The general sale will begin on Saturday, August 31 at 9am for the UK dates - Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh and 8am for the Dublin gigs.
