Oasis tour pre-sale tickets update issued after 'unprecedented' demand from fans
Oasis have been forced to issue an update to fans, after unprecedented' demand for pre-sale access, left some of them anxiously waiting for conformation e-mails to appear in their inbox, with all of the stress coming before a single ticket has even gone on sale.
Thirty years after the release of their acclaimed debut Definitely Maybe and after a wealth of speculation, Oasis announced on Tuesday morning that they will be touring the UK in 205, the same year that marks three decades since the release of second album (What's The Story) Morning Glory. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher and their bandmates will play 14 dates across the UK and Ireland next summer, kicking off in Cardiff, ending in Dublin and also including gigs in Manchester, London and Edinburgh.
The reaction to the Oasis Live 2025 tour announcement was absolutely huge, with millions of people set to try and get tickets to see the Brit pop legends next year. Excited fans were originally told that all tickets would go on sale on Saturday, August 31, but on Tuesday, Oasis sprung a surprise, by revealing that there will be a pre-sale on Friday.

Access to this will be via ballot, which many people rushed to sign up for straight away. After going through the various steps to complete registration, fans were told they'd be emailed a verification link to secure their place. However, by Wednesday morning, some fans still hadn't received theirs.

Addressing the understandable concern, a post appeared on Oasis' socials just before 11am on Wednesday, eight hours before the cut off point for pre-sale registration, which read: "We are aware that many of you are still waiting on a confirmation email. Rest assured they are on their way, as we process an unprecedented volume of entries. Everyone who has filled out the ballot form by 7pm BST today, Wednesday 28th August, will receive an email where they can confirm their entry in the ballot."
