Officers appeal for public's help following serious assault of man in Blantyre

Officers are appealing for information following the serious assault of a man in Blantyre.

The incident happened around 3am on Saturday, June 8, on Logan Street.

The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Sharon McBride said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.

“We are also asking people to check private CCTV and dash-cams for footage that could assist with our investigation.”

Anyone who can help is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 0868 of 8 June, 2024. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
