Officers remove rare clouded leopard trapped in a bathroom in Indonesia

Wildlife officers in Indonesia removed a rare clouded leopard yesterday (April 28) that was trapped in the bathroom of a home. It took three hours for officers from the Natural Resources Conservation Center to coax the big cat into a cage at the home in the Pasaman district of West Sumatra. Officers said they suspected the rare and protected feline entered the residential area after fighting with other clouded leopards in a forest area at the foot of Mount Pasaman. The adult male was taken for observation prior to release.
