Official Absolutely Loses It Revealing X-Rated Reason For Train Station Floods
An official for the Australian state of Victoria was unable to hide his amusement at the NSFW cause of “extensive flooding” that shut down two Melbourne train stations last week and caused lengthy delays for Olivia Rodrigo fans after her concert in the city.
Minister for Transport Infrastructure Danny Pearson told journalists at a press briefing that initial reports “it was an act of vandalism” that led to the flooding out of the Flagstaff and Melbourne Central stations late Thursday night were actually incorrect.
Instead, he said, surveillance camera footage now appeared to show “that an amorous couple in a stairwell dislodged the sprinkler.”
Pearson split with laughter as he attempted to answer questions and announced the police are now investigating the incident.
“Perhaps a stairwell may not be an appropriate place to find yourself at the end of a dinner,” he later added.

“The damage caused extensive flooding to several platforms, which resulted in an automated evacuation of both Melbourne Central and Flagstaff Railway stations,” Victoria Police said via a press release Monday.
“The flooding and evacuation of the stations had a flow on effect to Melbourne’s underground rail network, causing significant delays,” it added.
