Ohio State-related Final Jeopardy! clue being dubbed one of the easiest ever

On Tuesday’s Jeopardy!, the Final Jeopardy! clue from the “colleges and universities” category was making a lot of people feel, well, very educated. When current fill-in host Sanjay Gupta asked about a certain midwest University in Ohio trying to trademark the “The” in front of the school’s name, viewers on Twitter were quick to point how easy it was.

The correct answer, which all three contestants got right, is The Ohio State University. But according to many viewers at home, the clue may have put the “the” into, “the easiest Final Jeopardy! question ever.” Because some of the comments on Twitter called it a “gimme,” said it was “too easy,” and wondered if the show is “even trying anymore.”
