Oktoberfest coming to Liverpool with two-day 'extravaganza'
Oktoberfest is returning to Liverpool with ‘surprises’ awaiting beer lovers.
Originating in Munich, Oktoberfest events showcasing beer and carnivals are now held worldwide. The organisers of Oktoberfest Liverpool have described its event as “a two-day extravaganza featuring live music, steins of beer, bratwurst, pretzels and plenty of lederhosen.”
The celebration of Bavarian culture will take place at the Exhibition Centre following an indoor debut last year where thousands of people attended.

Paul Laing from Oktoberfest Liverpool said: “After last year’s success, we’re again looking forward to bringing a taste of Munich’s famous festival to the Liverpool waterfront.
“With one of the biggest bars, a themed funhouse and more surprises to be announced in the coming weeks, it’s already gearing up to be a fun weekend with a Bavarian twist.”
Colm Graham, Head of Partnerships, Hospitality and Exhibition Sales, at ACC Liverpool said: “We’re delighted to welcome back Oktoberfest Liverpool for what is becoming a key date in the calendar for people to dust off their lederhosen and enjoy a fun-filled, Bavarian knees up.
“It may be October with the unpredictable British weather, but that’s why holding the event in a climate controlled, safe environment has proved so popular for thousands of attendees.
“With live music, traditional Bavarian fayre and party games it’s going to be an experience not to be missed.”
Oktoberfest Liverpool will return on the weekend of October 19 and 20. Sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday with more details to be announced.
Other Oktoberfest celebrations in Liverpool have been announced. Bierkeller in Liverpool ONE have confirmed it is “busy planning Oktoberfest 2024” with further details to be confirmed. Meanwhile, three special Oktoberfest editions of Bingo Lingo will take place across October at Camp and Furnace in the Baltic Triangle.
