A former pub and bar in Huntingdon town centre has been put on the market. Cromwells Bar and Cafe, on High Street, is currently listed as 'permanently closed' on Google.

The property has since become vacant, but there could be plans for it to get a new lease of life. Among its features are a dance floor, DJ booth, and space for up to 60 people.

The venue is being marketed by Rightmove at an asking price of £475,000. The listing said the property was suitable for a variety of uses, including a bar, cafe, restaurant, or pub.

A statement from the listing said: "Cromwells Bar & Cafe is a double-fronted two-storey property in a central position in Huntingdon town centre. The public house/bar provides versatile, largely open-plan ground floor trade areas accessed via a central lobby entrance.

"The glazed frontage provides two light trade areas either side of the lobby overlooking High Street (25 covers). To the rear are a number of interconnecting trade areas, dance floor, DJ booth, with space for 60+ covers.

"Complimenting these areas is a substantial commercial trade kitchen with extraction, storage, ground floor rear cellar and rear delivery access, leading to a rear entrance to the trade garden. Male and female WC's are located via an internal staircase to the 1st floor.

"In addition there is a self-contained one-bedroom flat with large lounge, separate domestic kitchen, bathroom and storage, adjoining the rear plant room. Externally the property provides a sizeable trade garden and rear patio, shed and bin storage, directly onto Trinity Place, where there is public parking and vehicular access.
