Old Lincoln Halfords store could be turned into trampoline park and soft play
Plans have been submitted for a new trampoline park at a Lincoln shopping centre. The owner of Bounce Central, James Fearn, has put forward an application which suggests the former Halfords store at the Carlton Centre could become a trampoline park and indoor activity centre.
Halfords closed its doors at the Carlton Centre in November 2023 and the unit has remained empty since. Bounce Central, which already has sites in Salford and Bolton, is a trampoline park company which also offers soft play sessions and fitness classes.
Plans have been submitted to the City of Lincoln Council for the installation of two signs which would replace Halfords with the colourful Bounce Central logo. The current Bounce Central sites have more than 65 trampolines each and Jurassic Jungle Softplay areas, as well as on-site cafés.

The Salford site has 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor. One recent reviewer said: "Excellent party for our daughter, wonderfully organised and Kaysha couldn't do enough for us. Everyone had so much fun, including the parents. Thanks for being so welcoming, friendly and professional. We will definitely be returning and recommending you."
Another wrote: "This place is amazing. I took my daughter on a weekday where they had a fabulous offer on. It was £10.95 for two hours of time in the trampoline park and it also included lunch for my daughter.
"The food was great, my daughter had fish fingers, chips and beans (a toddler favourite), and I had a Piri-piri chicken wrap, which was absolutely lovely and far above the standard I was expecting from a café inside a place like this. All in all, the place is clean, safe and loads of fun and I would highly recommend it."
