How old are Torvill and Dean? Dancing on Ice judges back on ITV after emotional announcement
Dancing on Ice begins new series on Sunday and the show just wouldn't be the same without its two most famous skating stars, Torvill & Dean, who will be taking to the ice to take part in a special routine as a new batch of celebs make their debut. And the performance comes days after an emotional announcement on the Olympic champions' future.
At the Sarajevo Winter Olympics the pair won gold and became the highest scoring figure skaters of all time (for a single programme) receiving twelve perfect 6.0s and six 5.9s which included artistic impression scores of 6.0 from every judge, after skating to Maurice Ravel's Bolero.
Torvill & Dean have been in the limelight for close to four decades now although you wouldn’t tell by looking at them on Dancing on Ice, which they are once again appearing on this year, having been involved on the show for close to 20 years now.
