What is Old Wife, New Wife about?

The show aims to help families confront their issues head on, by having an individual move in with their new partner and former flame, along with their child.

At the beginning of the week each adult writes a “list of wishes” they have in order to make co-parenting work.

By the end of the process each family will work on a mediation document that they will all sign in order to make the parenting experience easier in the future.

Episode one will see Cyren move in with his ex-wife Laura and 19-year-old girlfriend Meaghan in a bid to bond with his three-year-old son Leo.

Cyren is under the impression that he was cut out of family life six months ago because he got together with his new partner but Laura says she was fed up with his sporadic visits to see her son.

As well as a slew of unresolved problems, the trio will also have to work through a lack of trust after claims Cyren cheated on Laura during their marriage, which he denies.
