Older Samsung phones ‘are actually better than Apple’s new iPhone 8,’ report claims

In a shock reversal for tech giant Apple, a leading American consumer magazine has rated three Samsung phones – including an 18-month-old model – as better than the new iPhone 8.

Apple is said to have seen sluggish sales of the new device, with reports claiming that the previous iPhone 7 still outsells the iPhone 8.

The launch also lacked the queues outside Apple stores which the company has become famous for, with broker KeyBanc Capital Markets blaming a ‘lack of significant enhancements’ in the new model.
